Ryan George - Vocals (kind of a f-a-g now, dropped edge en draagt make up enal + speelt in een mod-rock band, ik dacht fenix down ofzoiets)
Todd Jones - Guitar (speelt nu in terror)
Corey Williams - Guitar (frontman internal affairs)
Jon Westbrook - Bass
Nick Jett - Drums (eveneens in terror + zingt in piece by piece)
Carry On broke up, but before they did they spent most of 2001 putting together and releasing one of the best hardcore records of the year. Inner band conflict may have managed to pull them apart, but the record they released managed to document some of the best hardcore commited to vinyl all year. Carry On was a straight edge band that transcended above the confines of "youth crew" hardcore. This record is a must-have for anyone that likes hardcore music. Period.
www.bridge9.com/bridgenine/sound/carry-on_killing-a-sound.mp3 van de album a life less plagued, echt wat een juweeltje!!
So. California's Carry On were a straight up hardcore band who combined fast hardcore and frequent mosh parts layered under positive lyrics. Their East Coast Hardcore influenced sound gave West Coast kids something to dance hard to. With guest appearances from Wes of Give Up The Ghost & Sweet Pete of In My Eyes, "A Life Less Plagued" is a testament to the sound of late 90's Hardcore
